that pool is not really a kiddie pool, it was $7 at petsmart and is a lot smaller than a regular kiddie pool. I dont really know what it was there for, since im sure they dont have it just for turtles. Its only about 3 ft all the way around, but they are only 2" so not like i needed a lot of room.

I got it at the johnson city petsmart, sonyj, and they had more left if you are ever up that way.

I just love when they stick their feet wayyyy up in the air when they are basking. How cute! Wish mine would do that.

Kiddie pool is a GREAT idea. I'm going to try that too! Thanks for the inspiration!

Using a kiddie pool is a great idea, but what kind of water would you fill it up with? I know you can't use regular tap water unless you dechlorinate it, or you would need to buy a lot of gallons of spring water.

I recently saw kiddie pools at Walmart, the smallest was about $8.00.

You can use tap water--either add dechlorinator or let it stand in the pool for about 24 hours to let the chlorine dissipate.
