Yours doesn't kick her legs wildly and try to get loose when you hold her like that? Mine does. She abolutely hates being held. She's about that size too.

She's a beauty and reminds me of a girl I had years ago named Big Bertha ... ha ... and that was before my golfing days ... for those of you who know golf.
She loved to be held, was very gentle and was really quite curious. We would let her roam the house sometimes and she would always stay where ever we were.

Are the white between her scutes normal?

She doesn't normally have those... Before the picture was taken her shell was sheding and after she dried out they came off and the picture was the end result of her shedding.

Yea, she's really big. My RES have a long way to go before they are even close to that size. Very nice picture
