I've heard of people doing it. I've also read that if any problems result, it's usually the painteds that have them.

My RES and painteds are kept separately, partly because my RES is older and quite a bit larger than my painteds. I also don't have a tank/stock tank that would comfortably accommodate all of them. And I've found them to have very different temperments which I don't think would result in harmonious living if they were all together.

This is a little off topic from the being handled thing, but Kaylee is swimming against the glass like a flying turtle...I know they are beggers....but it is normal for her to be begging for food all this time, I just gave her a snack 45 minutes ago. Kobe ont he other hand is somewhere under the log chilling. OR does she wanna come out and play?

My female RES begs non-stop. It's sorta incredible sometimes... I've never seen anything enjoy eating so much.

sQuirtle begs allllll the time. It's funny cuz when I go to watch him, I like teasing him by knocking at the window and pointing at him and you know using your fingers to say "come here" and he comes RIGHT AWAY like he's so excited because he knows I'm where his food comes from lol. He's cute

Same here sQuirtle.....she's so funny, except for tonight. She's in timeout in the smaller tank by herself cause she was trying to bite her brother. They are only Two and 2.5 inches...and about 4 months old (Got them April 1).
