Ok so I've been laid up for a while because I have a broken leg (long story and they still don't know what all has happened to my leg yet) and I saw this show called Wonder Pets. Well lo and behold there's a red ear slider in the show and it's one of the wonder pets! It's sooo cute. Yes it's meant for little kids but I was singing along to the songs and stuff (maybe because of the pain killers I'm on who knows..) but it's just awesome! And for those of us who have a red ear slider and kids, the kids can relate even more to the turtle.

There's a picture of the turtle!

lol... I've seen it on, only when I'm keeping my two year old niece though. My kids are older and hate it.... it's a baby show they say.

I've often thought even though "Tuck" is cute, how will this effect the sell of red ear sliders to a new generation of kids growing up seeing how cute he is.... I cringe thinking of all the little turtles being bought and not cared for.

I know I thought about that too..it's like great..the sales of ducks and turtles are gonna skyrocket because all the kids are going to want a Wonder Pet.....and the tank that they have the turtle in doesn't really cut it. A little bit of water etc etc
