Oh, course, dude their tank has to at least be filled up halfway the tank. The more water for a RES the better.

^^^ you fill your tank up as much as you can, half way isnt enough for your turtles at any point in time. stop telling people to fill it up at least halfway.

yea don't claim to be a turtle expert when you are not totally informed of the proper care of the turtles, the halfway rule is totally bogus, it is best to fill the tank up as much as you can without the ability of escape. It would be nice also if you revised your advise when you discover that the information you were giving was incorrect.
