No, that is fine. RES will sometimes shed constantly if the water temp is too high.

Yes, I meant to say NOT start shedding again/not keep shedding. That's what I get for hurrying.

Shedding can be caused by other conditions---temps that are too warm (especially the basking temp), too much or too little vit A in the diet, some medications, a very high ammonia level, a fungus that minics shedding, for example. You could check these things to see if any are causing the shedding. Have you just not done the sulfur dip and seen what happens?

Hi Everyone,

I stopped the sulfur dip after about 4-5 days. The shedding looks to have minimized will just keep an eye on it (only a few spots here and there and very, very little of it).

The shell though is another concern of mine...I tried to take a pic but is a bit hard with him moving around...sorry. I guess I am concerned with the discoloration of some scutes (silvery at some angles/offwhitish at other angles along with algae starting to appear on some of them (the ones on the outer edge).

Any ideas?
