i recently got a red-eared slider that was treat very poorly. she was kept in the cold, got no food, it snowed to bad here she couldn't get her head above water neither. i got her last night and she seemed to be a little bit frozen at first but perked up in a few mintues. she has major discoloration around her arms when she sticks her legs and arms out, and won't eat currently. what's wrong and what can i do?! please help.

I responded to your other post. I will add to this one that if it is something that you are not happy with or content with, then just go to the vet.

I agree with Missi, a good vet visit will answer a lot of your questions or concerns. As well as make sure this little turtle is healthy.

make sure you keep her warm too. Basking light, warm water... as suggested in your other thread, not a whole lot, but enough if she were to flip over she could get righted.
