30 gallon tanks are perfect starter tanks,they will last you much longer than a 10 or 20 gallon,but if you want something that is going to last you a couple of years if not forever,aim for a 100 gallon.With a little rearanging in your bedroom,you could probably fit one in theyre.Keep in mind rubbermaids are excellent homes for turtles and you can find a 50 gallon one for less than 10$.Its good that you're getting a part time job,RES arent easy pets and they require lots of money and medical care when they get sick,i know what its like.Im 16 too,i had to get a job because of my babys
