i mentioned not too long ago that aeryn has this nasty habit of hanging out under the filter. at grey goose's suggestion, i stuck some rocks under the filter to keep her out from under there. she tried for a bit to get the rocks out from under there, but to no avail.

well a few days ago i go to check on them cuz i'm hearing noises. aeryn's messing with the rocks again. she sees me, continues to shuffle at the rocks. then she swims around the filter, gets under it, and gives me that indignant look like WHAT!?!?!

i couldn't stop laughing! she's been quite the hand full!

I got a look the other day. While I was doing some cleaning in the tank Spot swam over to the filter intake tube and pulled at it until the sections came apart above the water line. Then the filter just sucked air.

He looked at it in a surprised way for a few seconds then turned around and looked me in the eye. He just treaded water while looking up at me. I could almost hear him say "Well, what are you going to do about it?"

Once he caught on he could do this, he did it several more times in quick succession. Eventually I put some electrical tape on the joint that he kept pulling loose and that's finally spoiled his fun.

they do the funniest things

i'm not sure if it's the delirium, but i think i just saw aeryn trying to drink out of the filter's falling water.

Alphonse beggs for food all the time from me and my room mates. (i live in a dorm suite) And when no one feed him after a certian amount of time he rips his veggie clips from the side of the tank and pushes them around on the bottom of the tank. Both the clips an dhis river rocks make alot of nosie when he pushs them around. He only ever does this when someone is not paying there full attention to him. He scared the crud out of my suite mat, she was typeing on her computer in the common room near his tank, and he dive bombed off his dock, crashing into his river rocks shoving them into the side of the tank until she paided attention to him. Hes such a begger.
