so we moved, and I put karlyn in a temp 30 gallon tank for a day. I set up her tank at the new place, and when I put her in she FREAKED. It looks exactly as it did before, everything is in the same spot. I feel so bad ... shes getting used to it though.. it was only 5 mins away from my old place, but she was so scared in the car!!! my poooooooor baby!

She will get used to it. Promise. Turtles aren't all that good with change, but they can adjust with time.

Once she gets fed and locates the basking area, she'll be fine

You can always cover the sides of the tank for awhile... they are very aware of what goes on outside of the tank...

I know, I know ... but I feel bad for my poor baby. She was really mad when I bundled her up, and I know how they are adjusting, BUT she did eat a couple of pellets! thats a good sign... normally, they dont eat and bask right away when adjusting to a new place. It just freaked me out, right after I put her in the tank, she was going crazy, she went up to take a breath very hesitantly, and then bolted and flew into the side of the glass. Sometimes she gets scared and does that, but I hate seeing it.
