Well with all the recent deaths in the family (r.i.p. Lex and Siobhan), i fugred i ought to spend some time (and a little money) with the kids. There are 10 left and hopefully they are healthy and have better fortune than their friends
These are the two babies that im hoping to keep, the one on the left (the darker one) I named "Bruiser". The lighter one doesnt have a name yet, but im sure itll come to me.
The lighter turtle.
Bruiser
This is the one who had a shell problem I posted about a while back.

Everyone else waiting to get back in the pond.
Heres the newly redecorated pond! I just bought the Fluval 2+ today (I'm convinced that Fluval filters are the best you can get). The filter i had in there before was total crap. Above on the right is the UVB light hung from the ceiling by string and duct tape, its on there good, dont worry

. To the left is their heat light, over the weekend i found a large heat light in the garage so now they have
plenty of heat, which makes me feel better because i was having a hard time getting them enough. their new basking area is Lex's old floating dock on top of 2 piles of rocks so it doesnt float away (I washed it real good in case any of what Lex had was on it.) Finally, on the right i decided to give them a place to get out of the water but not in the heat, also the water heater is under there too.

New filter.
Hope you like the pictures! Remember, if you or someone you know is around the Philadelphia area, all these turtles are up for adoption, and the sooner i get them homes, the easier it will be for me to part with them

. If you live a little further away from Philadelphia, i will be happy to try to arrange a way to get a turtle to you!
