I'm going to be taking my turtles to the vet next week and i was just wondering if theres like a special way or do i just take them in 2 separate containers?

I just have one turtle. When I have to transport him I do it in a small cooler with some soft cloths inside for him to burrow into if he wants.

Don't transport them in water. I think any container that gives them some privacy and keeps them warm and out of drafts is good. A soft cloth to make it comfortable is good.

I think it would be more comfortable for the turtles to take them in separate containers. If one of them panics you don't want him to accidently scratch the other one with those powerful claws!

If you have something like a box, that would be better.

One box for each is good, it shouldnt be too big and not to small. You dont want to give them room to flip them selves over and freak out.

i lucked out in a major way, i don't even have to hit a traffic light to get to my vet. had to take john today, i just laid out that green kitchen rubbery placemat stuff (seriously, i have to find out what that's called) below him, and put a washcloth above him, folded up to make kindof a cave so he could get ventilation. no water. he was in a bowl that's designed to marinate meat. that was just the most spacey easy to transport thing that i had.

well as long as you don't put water in it, and keep them warm you should be okay.
