Is that gravel big enough to where you know for sure he cannot eat it? If not, I would take it up asap. He will eat it and he could die if he cannot pass it. Its hard to tell from this picture how big it is, but to me it looks like gravel. I suggest using river rocks.

The gravel looks big jessica, but i would take it out for another reason. All those rocks are going to hold in TONS of debri, making the water dirty alot faster. A few river rocks spread on the bottom are OK, but too much isnt.

I like you're set up though! And you're turtle seems realy happy! :)

BUT....like the others said, you need to get that gravel out of there. Here are a couple of examples of what happens when there's gravel in the turtle tank:

Okay I was thinking about taking out the gravel... I want to replace it with some bigger river rocks.. thanks !

Everyone who posted about the gravel was right I kept hearing stories about gravel in bellys so I did a big cleaning and took all the gravel out and it is sooooo much cleaner!! Now I feel better about her and dont have to worry about her eating the gravel thanks everyone :D !!
