i have two babies a ybs and a map.
could i let them out for walkies?
how long can they realy survive without water?

They can survive for quite a while without water (i think i remember reading 8 or 9 hours?), but if your turts are just babies it would probably be more stressful than fun for them. Lots of people who have older turtles let them walk around the house or the yard (under supervision), but even then, not all turtles are into it. I would wait untill they get older and then see how they like it.

How big are they? Can you post a picture? I love loooking at cutle little turtles.
I have two baby RES; Emerald(Emmie or Rocky for short, plus she has green ears!) and Pretty. (Don't ask me about her name. My brother named her. He's only 6 1/2.)

they are about 4-5inches big.

Try it our for a short period of time and see what they do. If they hide in their shells or if they make a dash for the nearest hiding sopt and don't come out then i would say they're not into it. If they seem to be ejoying themselves then you can do it more often. Just pay close attention to them to make sure they don't get lost, or stuck, or get into anything dangerous.
