The basking is about 90, on the warm part of it right under the light. Then the other end is about 80-85. My New Guinnea sleeps on the basking platform but spends awake hours under the water kinda hanging out. He does swim and eat fine. The African helmeted snake neck very rarely goes on the rocks and spends alot more time swimming around. Both are healthy according to the vet.
