Other Turtle Discussion :: Why never keep a found turtle?

Non-care related topics here.

It depends on the situation. Overall, my opinions are similar to David's and Goose's posts. (and at www.redearslider.com/found_turtle.html )

You are right that more information is needed, however, it is not always offered.

Yea, my wife can't understand why I could possibly be spending so much time on this website. She keeps asking me if I have a secret girlfriend on here or something!

"Yes, your honor, Turtle Talk ruined my marriage." :(

Ya I try not to get caught on this site because I just get ridiculed, so sometimes I'll click it off when someone comes into my room. I don’t want to hear the same old thing from them of "Haven’t you been on this site like a hundred time already", "So are you talking about turtles again, turtle turtle turtle". So I click it off. Then they'll say "soooooo, what were you looking at". I bet they think I’m looking at porn or something gross like that  .

LOL, we don't need an "official statistician," both of those statistics are in everybody's profile.

I rescued a hatching turtle here in Florida during the winter. we were having some very warm weather here & turtles started to hatch. My neighbor found him & I couldn't release him because I knew a freeze was coming the next night. Now he lives with me in my room in his big 10 gallon tank. (he's only 1/2 inch long).
