Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi

My Turtle has a little discoloration on it's vertebral. It started as a small spot but is getting bigger. It is silvery and reflective when in the water. Now a second one is forming. I touched the spot and it is hard. She is very active.

water = 78, basking = 90

Eats Nutrafin pellets, red leaf lettuce, occasional carrot on rotating schedule (she never wants to stop eating)

Any ideas?
thanks!

Nice looking turtle. That white streak down the spine toward the back? My RES has a little one as well. By bigger, do you mean it's getting longer or spreading out width-wise?

Can you get closer pic of the area in question when the shell is dry?
