So the site says that you can't really tell a turtle's gender until it reaches sexual maturity. So...what do you do until then? I want to know if I should call little Baby Turtle Ever "him" or "her"!

You...just, wait! Litterally that is all you do until your turtle is old enough and big enough to sex. For now calling your turtle him, or her wont hurt I guess, It's up to you..It also help's if you pick out a name that suit's both boy's and girl's..You know, just in case :)

He he, don't worry, you won't screw up your turtle's self identity if you get it mixed up. :D I'm sure as long as you feed him/her, he/she'll go along with whatever gender you want to assign to him/her. :lol:

You could always use the word it instead of her or him
