Oh No! That's such sad news sneaky :-( Was Turbo sick? I'm so sorry for you loss, I bet Turbo is enjoying her new pond though, and making lots of new turtle friends.

Heres what happened. This morning i woke up to go feed them. i got to the pond and i noticed that one of the rock beams that supported the rock wall for the water fall had fallen over. i stood there lookin around hoping to see 2 turtles swimming happily. after about 15 min of not seein a second turtle swim to me for food. i said "&*(%&^ it" and steppin into the pond to check out the fallen beam. low and behold, my Turbo had been trapped under there for some time probably since last night and lost air. I buried him in the back yard, on top of the hill where my 2 outdoor ponds are. Said my blessings and walked away. I figured. since hes not with me anymore. might as well bury him near the places he loved. I havnt cried or anything....yet... cuz it hasnt fully hit me. but i hope i dont start bawlin. I should think about the good times and be happy to have raised a turtle like him. anywho, its been a rough day for me so far. im somewhat lethargic but im tryin not to be. Maybe if you guys could leave some comments to make me feel better, that would be good. or at least pray for a fallen turtle.

I'm so sorry. Try to take comfort in knowing he had a good life with someone who loved him.

Oh dear, poor Turbo. Hopefully you can remember the wonderful life you provided and how happy Turbo was :-). I'm glad you picked such a nice spot to lay Turbo to rest, it's a nice memorial for him, and a good way for you to start the grieving process. Just realize that you are a great owner and think of the great life Flash will have, especially with him buddy looking out for him. Keep your chin up, losing a pet is never an easy thing to go through...

Wow, that's awful. Sorry to hear it. :( At least he had a very good life while he was in your care. Stuff like that happens in the wild too.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about Turbo! You can take comfort in the fact that he did have a wonderful life - you took great pains to make sure the setup was really nice for him and Flash. Life is like that - you never can guess what's around the corner. The key is to have a good life while you can - and I think Turbo did.
