i have noticed lately that cream my female res is not eating while i am there at least and she is always laying at the bottom od the pool under the shadow..
i havent noticed her acting strange or have any health problems..
when she gets on surface i gave her some pellets and shrimps but she doesnt eat them.. (at least while i am there..)
on the other half ice my male ybs is really good this period i think the best since i got him.
should i worry about cream? i am thinking of taking her home for a while so that i can notice her reactions better and feed her better..
i am a newbie ;)

hmm...generally pregnant females are restless and trying to get out...

It might just be some kind of seasonal depression? I've heard a few other turtles who are like this too. Camee's Tobi is also like this, just sitting around. Maybe you could put in some fish for her to play with

Lethargy (acting tired, sleeping or basking all the time) and poor appetite are symptoms of illness. I think you'd better keep a close eye on cream. You're the one that's been around her the most and know her usual behavior. I'd be inclined to trust my instincts if I noticed a change that worried me. At least I think you should take her home like you suggested. Then, if she's really going downhill, plan to get her to a vet.

I don't know that the bees would annoy the turtles but a bee could sting a turtle and that would be really bad news. You know how much a bee sting hurts - well imagine if the bee were the size of a big dog! That's how big a bee must seem to a little turtle.

Has Ice been harassing her? She might become withdrawn if she's been the victim of aggression.
