i know its a sign of res but is it a late sign or early sign what are some things i can do to help out befor ei take her to the vet i held her close to my ear listenting for clickign like winston had but i didnt hear anythign then she bit my ear so im a bit reluctant to try that again.
but im getting paid in 2 days and im gunna make an apoint ment is that going to be too late or should i borrow some money and take her asap
please help me out im realy freaked out she was fine yesterday when i came home to my moms house and this mornign i woke up and shes lopsided. im contacting a local herp as i type

When they start listing that means that the lungs are really affected. THe reason they are uneven is because there is fluid in one lung, making the other side more buoyant.
Get the earliest vet appointment you can. Make sure they are a herp vet, it doesn't do much good to go to a regular vet as they aren't as experienced with reptiles and amphibians and can make a misdiagnosis that can really hurt your turtle.

For now, boost the water temp to 82 it will help the immune system. Also try to keep your turtle eating (even if you have to bribe her with foods like tuna)... that keeps their strength up and gives them a better chance of fighting the infection. Since you just noticed the symptoms it is good that you're acting so quickly.

the off wited ness has subsided and shes not having trouble submerging im very iffed im gunna make an apointment soon but imm watching her closely

Swimming lopsided (and not being able to float evenly) is a very late sign of RI. Take her to the vet ASAP & let us know what happens.

she had stopped doing it when i had re entered the room after postign that and hasnt done that since ive beenn monitering her every hour on the hour since have a vet apoiutn ment monday ill let eveyr one know what the deal is shes been acting normal i hope shes ok i wish the vet coulda taken me sooner
