I sure do Steve but I'm not sure about my other male cat that's 8. I named him bones because he was so skinny. Vet visit said 1.16lbs. So tiny! He is doing great now. When you pick him up all you feel is his big belly. :-) Busy weekend.

Rebecca, if they are not basking, it one of 2 things. Either the bulb is too close and we supply instructions on not being to close. These are professional UV lights, not basking lights. or the other thing is that the bulb is far enough away but because it is, its not as warm as it needs to be. we also explain about supplemental lighting and heating. you can use the other brands and bring the bulb as close as it takes to keep them warm because they don't have any good UVB and wont hurt the animal. thousands of people rave about the difference in their animal's behavior with my design, but again, this is a professional design, meant to keep your animal healthy with good UVB for 1-2 years. Please watch out videos and feel free to call me personally!!!

I'd follow up with the pic.

Very curious to see how this plays out, because I'm due for a new bulb.

I find it interesting that he says its not a basking bulb and talkes about supplemental lighting.

If this bulb is not a stand alone basking bulb I'm not sure I'm a fan considering the amount it costs and operating costs (other lighting) The first time my gf wrote to him asking about the color on facebook she sent him a pm. I thought she posted the question to fb. She has now posted my picture and question to fb and its taking longer for a response.

That certainly isn't the way it is marketed.

Very odd that was the response and that he didn't address the odd color.

Please keep us updated with any further response.

What had you used for basking before? I don't remember. At least you should have stuff for supplemental lighting.

I was useing an cfl and incandescent. Now I'm useing the megaray and incandescent. I guess that's ok I was just under the impression that it was a stand alone bulb?
I will try to get some different pictures this weekend. I have never used a powersun so I have nothing to compare the megaray.

Yes, it should really be a standalone bulb.
