hmm seems like you have an algae problem you should try"algae fix", you can pick it up at pets mart its fish/turtle safe, ive used that since ive had my turtles and its kept my water crystal clear!

ive even heard that you can use it after the water is cloudy and it will turn the water clear again try it

doesnt hurt to try

I know I'm late, but green water is totally natural. It is not harmful to your turtle, and it is the result of his poop and decayed food feeding the algae. It seems to me that you need more biofiltration- more bacteria eating the waste products will starve the algae.
I used to be a reptile expert. Now I'm just an old turtle lover.
