www.bigalsonline.com is just about my favorite place to get them (some other supplies as well). Their prices are very reasonable. You may be able to find a better price at a site that's having a sale, but for just going and buying a filter, big al's has always been good for me. :)

I normally buy filters and accessories from either www.bigalsonline or www.drfostersmith.com.

I also buy from either www.bigalsonline.com or www.drfostersmith.com

One thing, I think drfostersmith.com charges extra freight on large filters and heavy items. They seem to have more sales than Big Al's, so you might catch a break... and they have exceptional customer service.

I don't know about yours but the nearest Walmart from here is pretty reasonable with filters. I find Whisper filters on there decent for the size they are designed for. I would go on Tetra's site to search for the nearest dealer with the filters. I don't know if you have to register or not, so someone will have to help you with that.

I got both my filters at Wal-Mart and they were kind of exspensive...but completely worth it! Also, try and by a size bigger then your tank. I love my filters but they have to be cleaned all the time and they quit working after a few hours.... I wish I had bought bigger. lol

I recently posted a deal for several different kinds of filters in the "deals" section. Ends early Sept.
