Habitat - Outdoor :: Pond teaser...

I still need to add the second basking point- I am waiting on the flat rocks to get here. But, the pond looks so nice so far that I just had to post a quick picture:



The big planter is my biofilter... I know the visible PVC is unsightly, but as the plants fill in they will drape down from the planter and cover the PVC... I will also tuck more in and wind them around the PVC. I might someday lower the filter so those PVC elbows don't stick out, but right now I really like the aeration from the splashing.

This looks nice. Are you going to post the blueprints/detailed instructions for your filter for us people who are DIY challenged?

I like it! I might have missed something, but you're not building around it right? Because it will be easier to move? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Anyway, it looks great!

I will indeed be posting a DIY.

I am not at this time building around it, because we will be moving eventually. Once it is more established I wil be surrounding it with plants, though.
