uhh my tank is disgusting right now because of the plant!

Take the plants out and put them in a tub or bucket of fresh room temperature water. Then do a 75% water change and rinse out your filter cartridges. Run some fresh carbon in your filter until it is clear again. While you're doing that you should rinse out the plants in fresh water several times allowing it to soak for a while between rinsing. Once the plant water rinses clean you should be able to return them to the turtles tank.

he has shredded the whole plant in pieces there is no plant left!! Plants are a no go from now on in his actualy tank lol

If you're feeding anachris, give him only enough for what he'd eat that day (one stalk or half a stalk if he's small) and keep the rest in another container of water to be given at other times.

Oh ok, i thought you were having more problem with the dirty water from the plants.
