well you can give them like..house flys, but those arent as "lively" in the water ahhaha.

i gave my turtle a house fly that i killed, he devoured it. i dont even know if thats safe to do. but i only fed it the one time

Ha...I gave Michelangelo a fly that I caught hiding in a bunch of grapes the other day. It was his very first insect treat — he thought it was delicious!

Hey guys, I am kind of new here, I have been reading alot of the forum for a few months now and I know yall can give accurate suggestions.

I have two babies, about an inch wide on both. I want to try and add some more live fish or aquatic species to the tank to spice it up a little. However, I do not want to put species that would be unhealthy or maybe hurt my babies.

I have some feeder fish in there. (Rosy Reds and some Guppies) Does anyone have some suggestions?

you can add other fish.. i use to have a spotted catfish whcih are small with big whiskers my turtles didnt chase him even if they tried hes super fast so its a good fish for em, he stole their crickets occasionally but it didnt seem to make the turtles mad.. try it..

I had some mollies in with my turtles for a while, they lasted quite a long time. They were too fast for the turts to get but I didn't really feed them because I had originally got them for my cat to chase in the bathtub so I think the only reason they died was because I didn't feed them. I'm assuming the turts ate them and they were fine.

In my DBT's tank I have a bunch of Kribensis, a golden algae eater, a Red tailed black shark, and three rainboow fish. So far my turtle hasn't bother with them. In my map turtle tank I have yellow lab cichlids, a Bristlenose pleco (great algae eater) a Red tailed black shark and a couple of feeder guppies that Percy has decided to keep as friends rather than have for lunch.
