My tank looks dull and only has a fake plant and that's it!!

i couldn't really afford anymore due to the $700.99 190 gallon tank and all the other expensive things needed for my RES

well, mine isn't very...nice. i just have things in there and my turtles seem to like it. but i plan on fixing it up and posting pics. sooo ill update it when i do. so far it looks like this:

I added some sand and a background for less than 20 bucks altogether. It really spiced up my tank. :)

Emma, lol, I had a doberman/rottweiler mix named Emma. Great dog.

Anyways, you're tank is so pretty. Those plants are beautiful. Are they plastic or live? If live, how'd you get them to grow so lush?
Spike - Egyptian mau mix, 8 years old
Phryne - Japanese bobtail, 9 months old
Hurricane - RES, 8 yo, 6 1/2 in. long
Typhoon - RES/Map hybrid, 8 yo, 7 in. long
Sadie - RES, 20 yo, 10 in. long
Sophie - Colombian red tail boa, 5 yo, 5 ft. long

there called Co2 emitters,they release gases for the plants to help them grow bigger and faster

Ha, they are plastic. They arent very good in the tank either. All their poop gets stuck it it. Ew. HA.

I've never seen "real" plants with suction cups lol.
I know you think i have it out for you, but in reality i just can't help pointing out the "obvious" if that makes sense.

here's one of my 55s for 2 half dollar sized RES, added another 5" of water and moved the filter to the middle yesterday.

I always love to see other setups, I keep getting new ideas from looking at them! So thanks for that!
