Well i tried it again. Click on the link below and let me know if the pics pop up. 4 of them are of my koi pond and the other 6 are the natural pond i am wanting to stock with turtles and native fish.

I recommend using www.imageshack.us to upload your pictures there and just paste the link (given to you after you upload). Your images should show up that way. Of course, there are other sites similar to imageshack but I use it and it works great.

i use imageshack, or photobucket, photobucket takes less time and it uploads up to 30 pictures at a time i think, i do imageshack for resizing and single photos

Awesome pictures and ponds. Those are some HUGE koi.. I don't think you'd need to worry about an RES eating those. Does the koi pond get any sun and does the other pond get any shade? You need a bit of both for RES.. they need a place to get out of the sun and to regulate their body temps.

The koi pond gets 50/50 sun shade and the natural pond gets about 70% sun and 30% shade. i'm going to keep the koi pond strictly for the koi and a few bullfrogs. I've read that the RES will gang up and attack koi. i dont mind if that happens in the natural pond as that is my goal, to have my own natural pond ecosystem as close to the real thing as possible.

WOW I was just thinking that it would be the other way the koi ganging up on the RES lol they are huge!Man I wana be a RES in live in your pond!

You'd be amazed at what they can do. A guy that I know that works at a wildlife reserve in South Carolina said they had left a few RES in a pond with a baby alligator for a weekend. When they got back they found that the RES had eaten the alligator.

Saw them from the first post. Nice pond! Love the three frogs--is that a fountain?
