I have a male RES{I think it is a male}. i have kept it in a tub.It is 6 months old. It appears to be healthy but i have no idea how to care for it. can you give me some ide regarding the bare essentials required??????

Welcome to the site! You can start by reading the basic care page http://www.redearslider.com/index_basic_care.html and asking questions here if you have any. A picture of his current habitat with a listing of equipment would also be helpful.
