My turtle doesn't want to eat the 2 roseys I got him. They've been in his tank for a week now. He bit part of one's tail off within the first hour and hasn't really tried to get them since.

Why doesn't he want them?

give it time, those fish WILL become a tasty snack sooner or later.

this has happened to me before.. i bought my turtle 10 fish... he has 2 left swimming in there for about 3 months.. refused to eat them. i think that he got used to them, and they did become friends. well i bought him 3 more fish and put them in, and that night they were all gone. if u want him to eat them, add a few more..UNLESS u only got 2 roseys to start with, and then in that case.. just give it some time, he will want them eventually dont u worry
