Hi everyone. I got my female RES when i was 11 years old. My neighbors gave her to me when they moved away. When i got the turtle, she was about 2 in in a 10 gallon tank. she was in 2 in of water and her island was flipped over. The tank was so green, it looked like they let the water sit out for years before even putting the turtle in there. They are so cruel to animals. After they moved I got to see the inside of there house. The police was called on them because of how nasty the house was. they had mold and algae growing on the walls and it smelt like a dead body. Now im 14 and she is doing MUCH better. She is in a 125 gal long tank. with a huge basking area, and artificial flowers. Her name is Toitle. (She got used to me calling her Turtle cuz i couldnt find a name for her) She has a "Male Friend" named Kingpin. He was mistreated by the man who sells them. He was missing most of two of his fingers because he was put inside a container with a baby snapping turtle. My setup is not quite done but i'll keep u updated. Peace

I still say get in touch with Coca Cola. :)

A 125-gallon long tank...sounds very good. :)
