and tomorrow im taking nimrod to the vet just to make sure he didnt get anything.

thanks but at least i got nimrod! and i got him a new rock wall climbing thing and he LOVES IT! and he is loving the cuttlebone!

thats good. i hered that its always good to get 2 turtles so if something happens to one of them you still have the other one to love and take care of.

awww nimrod looks like he's checking on savage. has he shown any signs of missing him? i remember when john was sick it looked like she was searching the tank all over for him.

well when i found him this morning nimrod was on the complete opposite side of the tank hiding, and every now and then he will go up on the basking area where savage was and just stay there for a minute then go back to the water

I'm sorry.......I just wanted to ask a question about the water depth. Do you still have the water level that low? If so is there a reason it is that low? (I was thinking that with the sick one you had it lower for him) You might not need both heat lamps if you raised the water level. And your turtle would probably love to swim alot more if you did raise it also. Again sorry about your loss.

ohhh no!!! i have the water level much higher!

and even now im going to raise the water level a bit more , but for now nimrod is still getting used to this water level.


hey i have a question.
at night is it ok to turn off the lights when the turtle is in the water?
can they see in the dark?!
when i turned off the lights my turtle was in one of the plants, and he just closed his eyes right then and there.

am i suppoed to put him out of the water?
