
Having your tank near the window is contributing to the algae growth. It isn't recommended to have your turtles tank near or in direct sunlight. Besides the algae, the sun can cause the temperature of the water to spike and that can harm your turtle if it does. And your turtle isn't benefiting from any of the sunlight since glass and screen filters the UVB rays that your turtle needs.KyleRasmussen wrote:...My tank is located near a sunny window.
